Found myself a project

It's an 08 rclb 2wd with a zf6. 211k does not run and drive. Bought it on Copart this afternoon, gave 4k for it and I'll prolly be leaving here shortly to go pick it up. Needs a little work on th bed otherwise doesn't look too bad body wise. Mechanically, well I'm expecting to do a rebuild. I'll get pics up later off th website. Also looks like it was used for repo work. Has a Minute Man towing insert in th bed. Anybody know what that might be worth?

Yeah I'm expecting the worst on th engine. Hopefully I get lucky but that's a lot of miles on a stock 6.4. It's in Lexington Ky which looks like a 10 drive so I'll be heading down today as soon as I get a wheel bearing replaced on my 96.

Well the engine cranks fine. No puffing out the ccv. Pulled the drain plug no water in the oil. Cracked a high pressure fuel line. No fuel. Plugged it in and it's only getting 55 psi. Calling for 5500. So I'm on the hunt for a hpfp. That would be too easy of a fix but it's nice to get lucky every now and then.

Good question. Also, how does the brokering work?

They're pretty awesome to deal with. The cost of repair is usually less than what they estimate. And they're pretty good with pointing out any and all damage. As far as the brokerage. It helps to have a car dealer friend. I didn't pay the brokerage fee.
