Front axel seal

Well I was checking to see if there were grease fittings on my new ball joints, saw lower ones but not upper. But on the passenger side, the rubber seal that goes into the axel from the ball joint area is lose, not sure if anyone quite knows what im talking about, having trouble uploading photo, can email it if need be. Thanks!

From what I understand that seal is a common problem area.
I don't think it's hard to fix at all.

Not a big deal unless you submerge the axle in water/mud from what I remember.

Alright thanks guys, I believe i'll check with suncoast on it. Maybe the shop can look at it tomorrow during the oil leak inspection

Ford has an update piece for that dust seal. Cant think of the part number.

Correct, the updated seal presses into the axle housing instead of onto the axle shaft like the original seal. I'll get the part # at the shop in the morning.
