fuel additives and bypass oil filters

I had a 6.0 before so I heard alot about them, and also coolant filters? I have a bypass oil filterin setup, will install it soon. Just looking for thoughts and opinions

Do you delete the filter on the top of the motor with the bypass?

No, it takes a small amount of oil from the main filter cap, then goes to a 3 micron filter, the back in the filler neck
