Fuel pick up umbrella question

Got my old leaking tank out
Got the new tank ready and the pickup umbrella is broke into pieces
Where can I get one?

well hell, I guess I'm pulling it back out, odd thing is there was only 2 small pieces in the tank, not sure what happened to all of it, but there was nothing else in the tank.

if it is like the one I am thinking of
the pickup bottom if you remove it you won't suck up the fuel at the very bottom of the tank

it's also a strainer to keep large stuff from blocking the filter that is inside the " umbrella "
so without it you loose the filter also

when u put it on don't just slid it up the pickup and put it in the tank use the tank to set the depth so it draws from the very bottom of the tank and not on inch up etc

what is weird is I don't know what happened to the rest of the thing, there was only 2 small pieces left, so where did it go, lol?

where it rotted out, there was a circular spot about 2 inches in diameter on the floor of the tank, like something had been sitting there, as that was the only rusty area inside the tank, and then again it wasn't even that bad, but in the center was the hole.
