Been driving diesel since I was scitting diapers, and at 27yo I finally ran it empty. I know how to prime it, but it still isn't cranking. Looked at all our lovely PSD forums and seen that there's a tool, Tool # TKIT-2007AP-F that assists in bleeding your fuel system but ford said they don't sale it, there's a 2 week wait for diesel's and they want 270.00 bucks. LOL I think not sir. Gentlemen I have done my research and come to you from the side of the road. LOL Any other suggestions? 20 second rotations at 8-10 times before trying to fire it up. Took the filter out and let the bowl fill. Nothing. Let the water separator drain. Nothing.

Turn the key on and let it cycle fuel until it shuts off. Do that 10-15 times and then bleed the valve. Then cycle the key a few more times. Then try to crank it.

No sir. Should be on top of the fuel cooler. Drivers side near the firewall. You'll see a schrader valve staring at you. Bleed from there.

Sure thing buddy. It's a real nightmare to get all of the air out of there. I did something similar the night that we left for Phoenix.... Almost took Wayne's truck instead lol.

Started knocking real bad so I turned it off and waited. Turned it back on and it seemed good. 2 minutes in to running it started again. Running rough and clacking re bad. Its off now. Why do I have a feeling this isn't going to be cheap! Lol

The codes came back, but I'm going to try it again. Watching my IPW it shows one of my injectors aren't firing.
