I finally talked myself into buying go-fast parts for the truck and with the discounts on Black Friday, i didn't need much persuasion.

I will be buying the high powers soon but will probably be the last thing i purchase with the transmission since i have to send in the cores. When you guys speak of bulletproofing the engine, that involves changing out the valve springs, pushrods, full erg delete w/tial waste gate, and studding it out.

Is it necessary to change out the lifters, cam, pistons?

What about changing out the rails for ported ones?

My setup will be high powers with duel fuelers, injectors and maybe a little bit of spray to see what it can do but 99% of time will be only fuel.

unless you are having lifter issues there is no need to change them. same with the cam, i think the stage 1 cams are pretty popular for responsiveness

What pistons would you guys suggest to get? Don't know much about them and see they come hd, coated, de-lipped, and machined 0.010"

I can set you up with anything you'd like. What are your end goals for the truck? It will determine if you need valve reliefs, HD or oversized. De-lipped or decked. Coated or not. Lots of options. If you want just give me a call at the shop and I can try and set you up with ones built for your needs.

My goal is to run in the 11's and have the truck streetable. More than likely no nos bc fuel should be enough for me. I want a drag truck that gets pulled to the track, i want to drive it and go fast.

What do you guys think would be a good injector nozzles to go with the high powers and duel fuelers?

I would say that if you are going to have pistons and high powers, I would go with 60% nozzles unless you are at any kind of higher elevation, then I would stay with 30% or lower.

30% nozzles for sure you could do 60% but thats way more fuel than you would ever need, but the bigger the nozzle the better fuel only number you should be able to produce even with the pw pulled back. Tuning goes a long way i even have my 100% smoke free on start up now so any injector is viable option IMHO
