Gearbox z heads up

I,ve had the Gearbox z dpf+economy tune for over 2 months now
In my line of work I average 500 miles week mostly hiway towing +-10000lbs loaded 16' ×8' ×7' cargo trailer

I first did dpf delete and used the economy tune that gives a little hp boost
Did the batteries discount and touch the positive neg together to reset the computers thing

tranny was unhappy and after a week and half I knew I was not gonnabe able to use
the economy setting
tranny would shift way to fast and going down grade would not shift up

Customer support said it was my tranny and refused to give me a chip with economy tune that I could use for towing instead they insisted it was my tranny

So I was forced to only use the dpf delete option and truck runs fine as it did before I even put a programmer on it.

Hope this helps those on fence about what tunner to purchase.

Oh I just had the egr delete done yesterday no codes but the wrench light is on so ill have to figure that one out for myself as well since it couldn't be my perefect tunner gotta be something the mechanics did?!

If I were you I would get a SCT iff road tuner and run that. They can be picked up for 600-800 bucks. Your truck will like it a lot more. I don't know much about the dpf r but I don't think they do trans tuning

I got ahold of a scantool today and koeo no codes p0000

However koer shows the two egr codes p0488 & p1408

So the tunner was not programed to fully delete the egr system as one might think it would so ill be looking for yet another tuner.
