You're in TX, in farm country. More pick up trucks are sold just in TX vs the other 49 states combined(consumer reports & Edmunds)
No trooper or even License and Weight division trooper is gonna stop you. The older L&W and most troopers I knew grew up near, on a farm or had friends/family w/ farms. If you're speeding or driving like sh$t then thats possible but unless you get some city slicker-rookie they aren't gonna mess w/ that.

trailer i pulled like that one says it weight is 5,500 lbs. is what the sales man said

i gotta 28+4, 20k, weighs in at 42-4500, i dont remember exactly. even if his is longer, which it looks like it is, what, are you guys filling your tires with cement?

I will be home this weekend and if i get a chance i will run the trailer over the scales. I would think it will be atleast 6-7000 its a 32 footer.
