im getting my truck straight piped very soon ( not so i can be a douche ). im getting the mbrp 4" turbo back system with out cats or a muffler. my biggest question is.. will i be able to put my stock muffler and cats on when it comes to inspection time next year?

It depends on the MBRP system. The "off-road" version will not allow the cat to bolt back in last I recall. You would need to order the "cat-in" version with the cat delete pipe and muffler delete pipe.

The difference is in the down pipes. One will have a flange for the cat the other will have the slip joint.

Unless its changed since I've had a vehicle registered there the only thing in nc they do is hook the computer up for diagnostic and do gay visual inspections.

If its like Texas (sounds like it is), its just a safety inspection. Brakes lights horn etc...
