Hey guys proud to announce that I have got my first new truck ever, 2015 lariat loaded with everything minus the sunroof and tailgate step!

I have a rough country 4.5in lift, super lift 4 link, gonna custom build a set of traction blocks and bars
Have 35x12.5-22 toyo mts sitting here
I have 22x14 hostiles on back order for 2 more months, so not sure what is gonna happen there, gonna have all the suspension coated candy blue!

My big question is living up north, what can I do to keep the frame having that factory show quality finish?? I want to take the truck to a bunch of truck shows and what not, want to keep it looking as new as possible

Here's the only stock picture I got, have my recon tails and smoked clearence lights on now, have 50 miles on the bad boy

I've heard that Por-15 stuff is really good in your climate for the frame.

il never use that stuff again!

its great on old rusted crap, but new its not the way to go.

I would look into some type of under coating but make sure they do the entire underside. we have had good luck with that.

I just picked my 15 up last Thursday. I'm parking it for the winter and driving my beater. Salt f***ing sucks!!!

Moving south now that's an option I like!

Nice truck.

I don't want to be negative but 22x14 on 4.5" and 35s is going to be a bad fitment issue. Even 22x14 on 33s rub badly on 4.5" lift. If you can deal with having 12" wide thats a much better choice.

Ya the 6.4's are a whole didfernt animal. I've got a 4 inch and 22x12's and 35's and I had to do a good bit of trimming just for them to fit.

Yep. Basically don't drive it in the winter If you want to paint and underside to remain looking like new. I hate not having my truck for the winter months but its worth it when the underside looks like new and there are no rust bubbles on the rear fenders.

See here is one with a 4.5 in lift and 35s on 15s, love the look, but maybe I should reconsider :( the only thing I've heard that the rough country is closer to 6 than 4.5

I did a 2014 Platinum for one of my customers, original setup was Icon 4.5" and 22x12 with 35" Toyo MT.

When his tires wore out, he wanted to move up to 22x14 so we put 33s on it and if you really wanted to, you could make it rub and that was with the bumper brackets removed and the inner fender liner trimmed. I don't see how 35s would have worked without cutting the bumper and possibly more.

No offense to the ones who like that but I'd be less worried about salt than I would about all the rock chips from the tires sticking out so far but I don't just drive on highways.

That one was at a lot here in town, guy builds and sells a lot of trucks! He had a silver platinum on 4" lift 22x14's and 35's I belive there's quite a bit of trimming involved to fit that combo under a 4" lift. I opted for 12 wides myself

Did he get them to fit without rubbing?

Fluid film rust proofing oil. Cover everything under the truck with it for winter and power wash it off in the spring
