Mine did, i plug it in and it did nothing, but zapped me!

Anyone else, Im ordering a new heater, cord lookd alright,

I never had a problem with one but my friends chebby lit the driverside headlight on fire last month..

mine SHI!T the bed this morning, took forever to start it! Im on my way to my old work now to buy one LOL

Yes, it would heat, but it would pull mad amps and trip every circuit I plugged into

positive its not just the cord? cord failure is not uncommon.. 15 bucks at IH

Cord failures are common.

I bought an extra element when I bought my truck 10 years ago.. just so I never would need to change it, apparently..

I'm pretty sure both my cord and element are bad buying a new one next week. I think the truck is learning how to start cold. Haha. Or at least getting used to it.

Mine might be just the cord but might as well replace both since I can throw it up on a lift quick and do it.
