Heavy/medium duty code scanner

Look for info on which scanner other heavy duty and medium duty diesel mechanics are using. Got a few transportation buses that I need to have info on and dont want to pay the high diag prices when I can do my self with the right scanner. All help appreciated.

I have a mci, thomas bus, amtram, mcs, and an international.

Ive been looking at the IQ or pocket IQ from people I have talked to they seem to say the IQ is worth the extra as the pocket shows limited data. But I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
