Help H&S sd card????

Ok so I took my card out and out another file in the custom folder for mcc and when I loaded it back it says "error finding custom directory" after I select download custom tune...what happened? My SD card is properly inserted in the mini maxx. I tried loading the factory canned files and it says insert SD card? Do I have a bad card? If so what do I do to fix it?

It's just a standard run of the mill SD card so you can try going and buying another card and reloading the entire MiniMaxx software file from H&S's website so atleast the truck will run. Once you get to that point you can try reloading the custom tunes afterwards knowing the truck will move if you need it to.

So your saying it possible took a **** and I can just get another micro SD and load the files from h&s website to it?

Crap... I forgot with all this EPA stuff going on I dont know if you can redownload all the DPF removed files from their site anymore. You used to be able to download the entire software file to start from scratch, then you could upgrade to the HD300, easy tunes ect...which were all DPF delete ready tuning. Youll have to search their site... it might be gone now after the EPA junk. Other than that Im not sure what your options would be... I've never had it happen to me before.

yes, you can still download everything

You can copy/paste your entire card to a new folder, do a complete reformat of the card (not quick format) FAT/FAT16 format NOT FAT32!!!!!!!!! Title the card MINI MAXX (all caps)

Then copy/paste your files back onto the card. I've had that work more than once. But you may need a new card. Must be 2GIG

Make sure that you delete all the files on your card now before loading the entire new card from the H&S website though.

don't delete the files. paste them to a folder so that you don't lose them just in case

I would do the FAT or FAT16 like is recommended through the H&S. you could try using a new 2GB card and format it and do all the info like mentioned in the site

Yeah, it was weird. The first 2 just didn't want to do it so we tried the 32. It works so I'm happy.

This is the correct setting. This happened to mine as well. Card needs to be reformatted as mentioned. After new files are downloaded you should be good.
