HELP - SCT LiveWire update - unkown devie

I have an SCT LiveWire, returned truck to stop connected the device to my compute. rWent to search for updates in the SCT software and it keeps coming up with "unknown device" when it goes to indentify the device. When I click on device settings and serial number it can identify the device and comes up with the correct serial number.

So, my question is, will I be able to download a custom tune on to the livewire? I'm gonna give Matt at gearhead a call tomorrow and order a custom tune. I'm also gonna call SCT tomorrow and talk with their tech department and see if they can tell me anything.

Just curious if anyone has any insight for the time being. thanks

I never did, I haven't called SCT yet but I haven't had to mess with it. So idk

i found out today that my usb cord was bad, got a new one solved problem. thanks
