Can we have a vote to remove them as a sponsor?

I second that

I installed one set of retros for a guy, they were crap.... So we replaced them with ddm

Have two friends with ddm heads and fogs in both trucks. Neither have had a problem in 2 years so thats 4 sets of lights. I have heads and fogs from retro and both have had bad ballasts in a year. DDm's sounding pretty good odds wise

I wouldn't buy retro solutions hids again. I got the 55w digital kit. Harness quality is junk, connectors they use are very poor quality, none of the connections seal and so on. I swear more money is spent on the fancy packaging than the actual product. Sponsor removal should happen.

I think a lot of the issues with these kits are installer error

Mine never failed me, dont get me wrong. I loved the light they threw, but the quality was junk. The wiring wasn't long enough to ground on the battery so i extended them, the ring terminals sucked, and just overall i felt like i could have found a much nicer kit for the money. Or at least built one. Light output was great and they always fired up.

Every set of retros I had, eventually gave me issue. I also had the same wiring issue as greenmachine, however mine didn't always fire up. I soldered my wiring and used dielectric grease. For what was paid, I should not have had to redo the harness.

My ebay sets, installed w/ dielectric grease, plenty of length on the relays and wiring. Run 100% better, no failures or flickers.

My issue is, EVERY set of retros I ran had some sort of issue, bulb or ballast. I hear their back-up LED bulbs are great but I'm hesitant.
My ebay sets, NO problems at 1/3 the price. And a buddy as DDM on his VW and thinks they run great, no flicker no issue. One bulb was DOA, warranty replaced w/o issue, and they light in the -20 MN winters, just like my ebay ones.

I got some eBay hid fog lights. They didn't come with a power wire or ground. Just plug and play. They were in my truck for maybe a week and it blew up. Been down for a month a half. Get the truck back fog lights come on. 5 min later I realize they arent on. What could be the problem blown fuse? I still can't get them to come on.

You blew a few. I believe they are 15 AMP fuses stock, replace with a 20 AMP. It may be a 10 AMP, an if so, replace with a 15 AMP.

You sure?? I had the same issue. Replaced the fuse with the same amperage, blew instantly. Upped the amperage, and it held fine.

Other than that, you're looking at bad bulbs or ballasts.

Would both go though? I mean it doesn't look blown. Guess wouldn't hurt to change it

I got a 55w digital set for my truck, and gave a set to my dad for his '10 superduty. Mine worked flawlwess up until the other night where one side will shut off after about 5 mins and not come back on. My dad's had a bulb not want to switch to high beams, they warranteed it no problem, his light was defective. I have to dig into my truck and see what's going on with it.

I mean both ballast or both bulbs? Any way to check or test?
