High flow coolant filter options

Is IPR the only option out there for high flow coolant filters? I currently ha a bypass kit installed, but I am installing a bullet proof diesel oem oil cooler relocation. I want to install a coolant filter inline prior to the coolant reaching the oil cooler, but I don't think my sinister/wix coolant filter would allow enough flow.

Anyone have suggestions on what filters I could use?

What happens when the filter gets clogged?

I was going to keep a spare filter on hand and watch my deltas the same as I do now. The difference being a filter change would be much cheaper than changing a clogged oil cooler.

The ipr coolant filter is nice. I have the whole oil cooler relocation kit.... came with it... it's pretty easy and straight forward to maintain.
