High mount 3rd brake light.

On my 08' the high mount cargo light will not come on. The brake light still works fine though. I've switched the bulbs around and still nothing. Anyone have any thoughts on what it might be?

Mine didn't work so I spliced the cargo light wire to the interior dome light so it comes on whenever the dome light is on. I believe that's how it was supposed to function stock.
