Hot side intercooler tube

Anyone else have the line on the side of the power steering pump rub a hole in the hot side tube?

Yep. Actually, I caught it before it was worn all the way through. Re route and judicial use of zip ties cures the issue.

Caught mine too late. I will have to replace the tube unless I can get my brother in law to weld it up for me. It rubbed right where the line makes the 90 and connects to the pump.

You can weld it up and when you put it back on you can rotate it slightly before you tighten the clamps to gain more clearance.

Yep, and check that line real good, I bet it's thin.

I zip tied a small piece of rubber hose to mine. Hasn't rubbed though since.

Hi Jeff, while you are there, take a look at the pressure hose that runs from pump up to the hydro booster. Every time you hit the brakes that hoses flexes slapping that shock tower damaging that hose over the years. Tie it back.
