+1 for pickle fork. I've had my trucks weight on the tie rod trying to get it off and it didn't budge, not to mention if you're going to reuse the tie rod end/ drag link, a pickle fork won't fudge it up like a hammer will.
run the nut up 5 or 6 threads and drive the side of the pitman arm at front edge with BFH and should pop taper loose with out damage to threads or boot
rented a pitman arm puller. it finally worked. came off with a loud bang. had no luck with a sledge hammer. beat in the body no budge. mushroomed the head of the bolt. hopefully i can find a die thatll clean it up and straighten it out.
