Last time I checked it had 2817 hrs at 95102 miles, so 33.8mph average.

When I checked it I thought it was low and was a little concerned about extended idling with the emissions equipment under previous owners (I purchased at 91,500). Looks like I'm about average though. Most of my miles are highway/rural and I rarely leave it idling more than a couple minutes so I expect that average mph average to start climbing.

Higher average MPH typically indicates less idling which means less potential for oil dilution with fuel (especially with the DPF still on) which means potentially less wear.

For you guys with high hours and low mileage, just a little FYI, each hour of run time is ~25 miles worth of engine operation IIRC.
My 07 has 60k miles and 1500 hours

So if I understand that right, my 08 has 85k and 4200 hrs resulting in 21mph. A better average would be 45 agreed? My new hr would roughly be 1900. The difference in hrs is 2300, and at ~25/hr, I roughly lost 58k worth of operation life? Now my head hurts and I need another beer...

It just means that your truck has approximately 105,000 miles worth of operation on it instead of the 85k your odometer reads

Hour meter can be reset using IDS so unless you bought the truck new it could have been reset at some point.

I don't know where you heard that but as far as I know it's untrue. Considering warranty is based on mileage and hours on commercial vehicles I'm 99% sure it cannot be reset through ids. I work with an ids every day at the dealer and have never seen an option for that

216000 kms and 4027 hours. Comes out to 53 kmh or 33 mph. This on a 450 that doesn't go more than 65 mph.
