HPOP access cover o'ring

Anyone know the o-ring size to use instead of RTV for the HPOP front access cover?

Yes but you can use an o-ring instead. There is a groove in the timing cover for one.

Parker has an O-ring "guide". Take a couple measurements of the groove and spec one out.

thats cool I have some viton -140 , thats the HPOP rear cover size as well

I wonder why ford didn't use an O-ring from the factory. I'll have to get one for the crew cab before the motor goes back in

Looks like it would be a bitch to keep it lined up and in the groove while tightening.

Nope....little grease in the groove will hold the oring in place.
