HPOP Leak

Got a buddy that has a 01. Called me saying hes leaking oil, told him to check where it was coming from. He said it appears to be leaking from the bottom of the hpop near the front where it bolts to the front case. Is there an o-ring underneath there that may have popped? He said it looks like there is a steel line that runs under there up at the front as well. Could be that maybe? Hes supposed to bring it up sometime tonight but figured I'd get a head start on it. Any ideas guys?

Sounds like the plug oring is leaking and the fix is the new plug with longer threads. And it needs to be pulled to replace because of the check ball and edge filter. And may require some heat to let it come out.

Www.dieselorings.com has em cheap. It was like 70 something and it was all new orings and gasket.

Let me clarify as the plug alone is 28. But 70 is all new orings and gasket. IMO if you pull it for the plug spend the time for the rest of the orings.
