The biggest issue shipping cross border [North to South] is how long it takes to clear customs.
I can send my Grandma a package, and it will get to her in about a week. It isn't uncommon for packages travelling the opposite direction to take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. As well as having been obviously opened/inspected.

I cross the border fairly frequently at SR543. I can meet the seller there and ship them to the buyer once I cross back over if that helps anyone out.

if an American is interested but nervous about the cross border aspect, I can go independently verify the item as I am also local.
