I've been using a 1hp Honda 4cycle 1" water pump for years now. The HF 2stroke versions are about the same price as that pos HF 12v pump... If you must have 12v, the Redline Pumps (uses SBC oil pump/aka. Melling 55) are prolly best. You can build your own SBC pump for under $25 and power it with a cordless drill or WHATEVER you can dream up.
