The 0749 and the 0750 both use 1-14 threads... Baldwin makes more than one filter base LOL



My brother is using the CAT-0751 filter on his airdog on his duramax. This uses 7/8-14 UNF threads just like the airdog. This is the part number you want, I think you found your problem.

This is the one I used.

A.D.D. kicked in and had to try it again. Ordered another Cat filter and gave it another shot. Loosed the bracket holding the pump to push the bracket as far out of the way as I could. I was able to spin the new Cat filter all the way up without having to grind the bracket any. No leaks and running great. I did have to remove the two redirects on the pump base. Lesson learned learned about lubing the threads. Hope this may help others. Made this a cake walk.

So I take it you used the CAT-0751 filter?
