That sounds like charger noise to me.

That's kinda what I'm thinking.... Hope this Garrett isn't going bad... Guess it's a wicked wheel excuse though

Gees man, slow down. I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. It sounds normal to me, assuming you have an open element air filter.

If you pay attention, when you shut the engine down, you should be able to hear the turbo spooling down. Other than that it's not that noisy.
If the turbo is still rolling after the engine is off, your probably fine. Takes maybe 5-10 seconds for it to stop.
If your really worried, pull the intake tube and check for play in the compressor wheel...
