My buddy calls and says his truck keeps blowing the injection drive fuse. Turns the key and within a few seconds the fuse blows. Says he can hear it when it pops. Truck is a 99. Where to start? Any advice? Thanks

Most likely culprit is fuel bowl heater shorting to ground and causing fuse #22 to blow (provided it is the 22 fuse that is blown?).
Unplug the heater and see what happens.

BTW, the fuel bowl heater is the only electrical connection on the fuel bowl. Down low on the fuel bowl on the back. On the driver side.
