What dose the truck do when you loose an injector, is it safe to drive it to get it home or will it harm the engine or not drivable at all

Shouldn't drive it if at all possible. If it's just a dead injector, it's not as bad. I see semis drive in 500 miles with a dead cylinder from a bad injector. If it's stuck open, bad news. You'll melt it down in no time.
