Wowww just when I thought the old extreme race was the best lol. I got the tune Wednesday evening and ran it for two days. No touchy pedal, zero smoke, shifting and lock up is insane. Running the old extreme race the truck was def a little jumpy just touching the pedal and its gone. Def the best daily driving tune out there. I'm not too crazy how it doesn't smoke until your full throttle though haha I like having it incase someone pisses me off but it doesn't smoke and has some balls! I'm not sure which tune is faster but for street driving without a doubt the new one is 10x better. Lock up at 15% throttle sets you back in the seat and holds out later then the race lock. You dont have to select a trans tune with the new tune either. The down shift strategy is great, almost that of a automatic sports car. I know with my truck in race lock I would literally have to stump on it to get out of OD, this tune if I go to get on it to pass someone at like 50-55 its already out of overdrive waiting on my heavy foot lol. I've yet to launch the truck from a stop to see how the shifting and lock up is at WOT. But my weekend activities I'm sure will involve a boosted launch. Any questions just ask... oh yeah, suppose to have give or take 30 more hp :D

You dont select a trans tune its built into the extreme race. And hope no one cunfuses this for NEW extreme x tune, this is the revised extreme race the extreme x isn't out at the moment. I can't imagine what that tunes gonna be like!

Understandable haha. It just amazes me the driveability with the power he got out of this tune. I need to listen to see if this tune has as much injector rattle as the old one when slowing down to a stop, it may not though because I know at idle rail pressure is lowet. But you should get it just to drive and see how you like it.

Do you know why he changed lockup from 45 to 55? I am not going to say I liked lugging it but I didnt mind it to be honest? Can you still select the trans tune you want on the other tunes? Did he email you this tune?

You may be able to change the trans tuning because right before u tune it it ask if you want to adjust user options, I didn't because I wanted to try the newest stuff. And no I'm only 15 minutes from IDP I had him load it directly to my LW. The lock up at 50-55 feels better to me for some reason, it may be 50mph. Once the extreme x comes out I can't imagine ill ever run the old extreme race again. If I want a raw power tune ill run that, if I want a DD tune that is 325+ hp over stock ill run the new race.

No, the NEW 3.02 extreme race has trans tune built in it, when you select extreme race. Its not like the old tunes where your select which file you want, then select which trans tunes.

I didn't catch that. reason being is everytime he does preprogrammed they're ate options. emailed tunes are set. the reason he's been wanting to have people send in they're livewires rather than emails is 1. the options 2. he claims the preprogrammed makes a little more power. or at least that's been the case in the past.
