Intercooler

I searched and found that most of the 6.0l IC install threads were with 4x4 trucks. not sure if the front sway bar on my 2wd truck is gonna hit the cooler. has anybody installed a 6.0l cooler on a 2wd truck and any pics of it?

IIRC, I think even using the 99+ SD Intercoolers required the sway bar brackets to be dropped about 2" on 2WD (square steel tubing with the bolt holes sleeved to avoid crush maybe?). Cheers!

I have the brackets you need left over from my intercooler kit. Just put it in today. But I have a 4wd so didn't need them. PM me and I will send them to you.

YES you need to drop it down a bit. Nothing some square tube cant fix!

Thanks for the input guys. Decided against the IC install....one, don't see it being worth the time and effort to intercool 5psi(idi) and turns out the cooler is from a 6.0l van so that throws things off as well. they wanted $40 for it so i figured why not, if it didn't work out i could just re-sell it, but since the van coolers are different i didn't even bother with it.
