I am thinking its the compressor wheel maybe, like extended tip/billet and what not. Not quite sure.

The compressor wheel is billet, therefore flowing a bit more

the x is billet and a completely different design than the regular gt. the 4294x flows as much air as the 4902 with a 5mm smaller inducer.
