Is it worth it?

So I've happened across a 7.3 engine out of a 97 F350 with ~240k on it. It has a rotten oil pan, bad valve cover gaskests, no fuel pump and part of the engine harness missing (so I'm told). Was running before the parts were pulled for another truck (assuming parts were the pump and harness...

Guy is asking $200

I feel like this is a steal for the rods alone? I think I'd put the turbo and injectors up for sale as cores and keep the rest as spares or for future performance engine build...

What do you think?

Deff can't!!! Heck the hpop alone can be flipped for 100$ alone and not to mention the injectors for cores.

Wish I could find a deal like that. On craiglists around here people want 600$ for a 7.3 that's been torn down and has sat in the elements!

Picked it up, will post in classifieds once I figure out everything I'm keeping and what is selling...

I assume the obs front cover is different than the SD cover?? What parts are strictly obs? What I know of:
Turbo
Hpop
Fuel bowl
Accessories

What else is not compatible with a SD?
