Couple vids I took on the drive home just running the HD300 tune. I'd think with some refined tunes it will light the turbos quicker. Still way more on tap then shown in the vids. It will make 60psi at half throttle. I think with the right tune and some waste gate set up it will be a strong runner. My but dyno tells me at half throttle it's faster then it was when I ran under 12's with a bunch of nitrous.

160mph would be intense!

Thanks man! It's a good feeling to spend this kinda cash and have it over perform my expectations in almost all areas.

Tried out a few different tunes, mostly just altering the low boost fueling on the hd300. I went down one at a time from the default 3 and found it runs best on 0. Took it for a run tonight and it lights very fast!! Also tried a little boosted launch... Left at 4psi and the turbos lit instantly! But now the hurdle is shifting. It doesn't like to shift at all lol. Flares up 1-2,2-3 and a lot from 3-4. 4-5 is ok but could be much crisper. Accelerating from highway speeds makes my face stretch backwards lol. Seriously tho!

Once I can get my trans shifting issues sorted out I will be taking it to the track. And the dyno will happen soon I hope.

I don't have his tunes yet plus mines a zf6, but gearhead has gotten nothing but excellent reviews on power and especially shifting. I would go that route.

Yeah, I've read that people are happy with the tunes on stock/stock appearing turbo trucks.

Glad to see the truck back up and running. I followed the build way back when lol. So sick. Dirty Diesel Customs knocked it out of the park on it. Hopefully you can get the trans straightened out. Can't wait to hear some numbers on it.

No derail but not everyone had "excellent" experiences with GH. Just gonna say I'll stick with my RCD tunes.
