I've got a grille question!

Has anyone here ever had a chrome package grille and a fx4 grille and removed the center insert to see if they are identical mounting tabs. I want to swap the inserts out. put a chrome package bar insert in place of the regular fx4 insert in a painted white fx4 grill. Thanks for your help.

I've been wanting to do this myself. I'm pretty positive they would swap but can't say for sure.

Yea I've never seen it done probably because most don't have 2 grills that they want to sacrifice to make one. But I think it would be one of a kind if it's the same. Especially on a lariat with the chrome package.
