How do you tell a job1 from job2 on a 6.4. The Vin is 1ftWw31R0

Here ya go. Also, you can look underneath. If there is an external trans filter, it is a job 1.

How cab you tell by the valance?

Job 1 valance is much shorter. 2-3 inches vs 4-5 on job 2 and 3

Are job1 ok or should I stay away?

They are just fine. Make sure you check the radiator... there was a recall for cracking. Great trucks overall.
