Well after having concerns about shifting with my PHP tunes after installing a VB I gotta say no reason to. Installed JW VB last night and my truck feels better than ever. Perfect clean crisp shifts.. Figure I'd share my experience for y'all. The ol gal rolled 200k last night and still tickin along strong!!

cool.... how do you do the install? ive never been one to mess with auto trannys. so i dont know much about them.

Drain fluid, drop the pan, pull the filter and orange o-ring that goes on it, then its like eight 8mm bolts holding it in and two 10mm nuts, drop it and put the new one in. Then refill with like 8 quarts of fluid, more if you drain the tc, but its not nessecary. Little harder with a shift kit cause you gotta take the old springs out of the vb. Been a few months since I done it but iirc thats the right size sockets.

Wait till you hook a trailer to it. I have a JW tow master with Gearhead tunes and its a blast.

lay plastic down first super messy...guzzles 7.3 site has a write up if needed.

Super easy install but yeah we laid cardboard down it dripped quite a lot... Can't wait to tow with it!
