LED light bar mount

I finally got around to installing my rigid 20" bar. I did it differently than I have seen most. So maybe this will help some people. I tried getting around removing the bumper, but it is a must. I don't have any pics of that, so just mark your center points and get to Un bolting.

I bought the rigid universal tabs that you weld on and a piece of flat stock.

Get it centered with clamps holing in place.

Mark your holes on the mount.

That looks great. I just fabbed up a bracket for mine on Saturday. I tried to get around removing the bumper as well, but it just wasn't happening.

Just got mine mounted up yesterday. Thanks goes out to Mike from No Limit for the great deal on the light bar. This thing is crazy bright. I love it. I got some 1/4 plate bent up into L brackets and mounted it up with some 3/8 hardware. And thank you to my wonderful wife for her help with the project.

No installed pics for me other than just when I was mocking up the bracket. I'll get it on and finish the wiring this weekend.

I was gonna use your plate idea but the brackets that came with the bar were a little long and the bar stuck out of the bumper which I didn't like. I have it recessed a little which I think overall looks better.

Thanks. Ya I think it might be a litte overkill but I figured do it right the first time and make it plenty strong.

Looking good guys. There's always more than one way to skin a cat. I've also seen tabs welded to the bumper brackets.

ullover:What do you guys do with the license plate for the front? I live in WI and they are pretty hardcore here about running a front plate.

Just left mine off. I was thinking about making a bracket for my lic plate. so I can swap my led bar or license plate.
