What are you guys using to remove the paint if you get ticketed? Mineral spirits/laquer thinner?

laquer will get it off if it's that vht crap. It will leave a fuzzy haze like the light's been in the sun way too long though. I use diluted black basecoat (using clear base coat), then clearcoat on top to do light tinting, which would require sanding with like 600 grit wet to remove. You'd have to re-clear when done to get the shine back though.

Be careful with harsh chemicals on the plastic lenses. I've seen them get spiderwebbed micro cracks from them and they look terrible.

Yeah, I just tinted them today. Just curious about removal if I get pulled over for it.

I would go to home depot and get whatever the least harsh chemical they have is and try and let them soak it off. That'd be the best bet to keep them from getting hazey I'd think. Last time I bought lacquer thinner they had all that stuff in order of harsh ness.
