Not if they are slow...
I'd rather have a truck that performs good and looks decent than one that looks awesome but doesn't back it up with some power.
Ideally, I'd prefer one that does both

I'd put a limited slip like the truetrac in the rear so you stop lighting off that inside tire, get what power you do have to the ground.
Then do your lift and tires. That ought to exhaust your wallet for a while...so you can get some miles on the truck.
Ford ain't been too hot about replacing stuff on trucks with modified engines, they will want to void your warranty; and everything is really expensive.
Just sayin, if it were mine (and one is) I'd get 10-15k on the odo before voiding my warranty make sure there aren't any bugs left to be worked out on my dime.
