So this is my first diesel, 1st dually, 1st big truck.....

I was told by the PO that it had airbags in the back for load leveling. Do these bags need to come out if I add a lift kit? It's. 99 4x2 dually. I'm looking to go 3"-6".

It depends on how it lifts the rear. Taller block or lift springs etc. it also depends on how the bags mount: on top of the springs or axle tubes. Either way you can run bags with any lift kit with the proper mounting hardware.

It would be nice to find out the brand of air bags as some company's make spacers for them. If all else fails you can make a spacer to mount under the bags to match the taller block height. Are you going to do a lot of towing? If not you could always just take em out.
