Most of the pumps are set at 15+ which is not what I believe is correct . the factory is about 5-8psi. Depending on your ambient temperature on how cold it gets I normally suggest not going over 10

Factory lpfp is internally regulated to 3.5psi I believe. Most kits are supposedly set at 10, and I wouldnt go any higher.

I had mine at 11 to 12 psi, any higher it was really loud and seemed to make the hpfp lines have that harmonic noise. Lowered it back down never had a issue.

The air dog? Lol

yes. you are asking to be stranded at the side of the road with it. Same with Fass. What you need is a brushless setup like Fuelab or Aeromotive.

Its all quick connect tho, so i could just pop the old lines back on the hfcm real quick and off we go

That's a good thing haha! That way when it fails your not stranded. But like sootie said a brushless pump is the way to go.

Just buy a spare motor. Prolly still substantially cheaper than a fuellab or aeromotive. Forgot which one but one of the kits is ridiculously priced.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten:thumbup:. powerstroked08 can tell you How our kits install.
