One of them is power coming from the source, most likely the red wire. The other is a ground wire, probably coming from the black wire. The purpose of the ground wire is for the lighted switch. It if were ME, I would use a multimeter to determine which wires is connected to where. One should have continuity with the red wire, one with the black wire.
