Like I need another Truck

Bought this 05 XLT Lariat about a month ago to flip or part out. Ford diagnosis- worn engine, blown head gaskets bab ecm.

Got it running.

Decided to fix the actual problem.
Headed to Midwest Performance Diesel in Benton Ks for EGR deletes and uppies.

Took the 97 to bring back the 05. Drove the 05 around a bunch while close to the shop to be sure it wasn't going to start falling apart. Was surprised at the quiet and comfort. Decided to give it a trial by fire. Accidently fell in love with it.

Was informed that I was obligated to take the original take off bed removed in 06. Removed flatbed, reinstalled original bed after building a GN mount.

Snagged some KR wheels and new 235/80/17's and a new grille.

1300 for the tires and wheels.
75 for the grille
traded the flatbed for all the parts and labor plus 6 or 700 in 7.3 parts.

Yeah just a cracked egr cooler. One of the bellows was cracked so it got replaced to. You coming to TS Eric?
