I can't say it's totally equal but I can say messing with my gate changes back pressure readings in the other uppipe substantially. I have been wanting to add another sensor in the other uppipe to verify how close they are.

But in all seriousness the open housing is a bad idea they spool like ****

Roger, got it. I guess that we got really good guesses with housing sizing then... I am pretty sure that the gate is opening at around 70, and then total EBP gets up to 78-79... So I dont think that I need 2 gates just yet...

Think that I should try to get a bit more than 70 absolute before the gate opens? That is only 55 desired... She eats waaaaay harder than she did prior to adjustment....

Another good thing to do is to mark your regulator when you get it dialed in. It is easy to move it for one reason or another and forget where you had it before.

Yeah, I got a white paint marker, for when I get it all sorted out, and Ill make appropriate marks.

Does anyone use a Boost controller? AMS 500 or 1000? Interested to know how I can use this to my benefit...

My edge CTS just stopped working... So I dont know which turbo is doing what work... Just overall #s. Hope to have Edge sort it out soon, so I can keep track of that as well.

Yeah that's your next step. Do you have a dashdaq?

Which uppipe is the factory sensor in? Which side is the gate in?

I thought his set up had a cross over pipe between uppipes for some reason...

I just went back thru the thread in rudy's section, so this may change things a bit but im not sure.

so both the sensor and the gate are on one side?

I truely did think he had a balance pipe between stages...

i still think the open housing is a bad idea, we just need to verify how this turbo acts against each bank with a gate only on one side...

It depends on the actual exhaust housing a bit, I'm not totally sure how it works, thats why i would like to know how the gate and sensor is rigged up, it would be nice to be able to read pressure on the other manifold just to verify one way or the other. I know mine doesnt need it but its the turbo that allows that to happen
