After 3 years of running the ever living dog piss out of my truck every day I think I've finally popped my head gaskets. Heat blows cold sometimes at a stop light and my friend is tellin me that's a sign of air in the system from blown gaskets. This sound correct?

What my maIn question is is where's the cheapest studs? Used to be browns for 379 but I checked last night and they want 479 now.

TIA

Yea I raced a mustang the other day and started smelling coolant. Popped the hood and had coolant on the bottle. Also already have the updated cap

Yeah might just start saving up for the job. Mean time just drive it and know it should be done down the road. When it pukes constantly then it's time. Or having to fill it up daily.

430$

The lowest I've seen 6.0 studs go for is 400$.

Just surf around the sponsor sites and see who has the lowest.

ahh run it till its puking constantley and you have to put coolant in dailey. Hell my two buddies 6.0s got so bad they were putting a gallon a week in minimum. The one wouldn't even leave anything in the degas bottle and it still puked all over. The other had cooland coming out and running down the motor from the head and block. Run it till you have the funds.

Uh no...do not take that f*ck it approach. Horrible advice. Drive the truck with caution, and if you tow, be careful, and make sure you have a physical monitor on ECT and EOT to make sure you have a handle on things.

On edit: As soon as you have the funds, take care of it before it gets any worse.
