I set the tunes up to kind of suit everyone since part throttle shifting isn't user adjustable. if you slightly let out of the throttle it will drop into gear in the cases where it feels like it is hanging. also make sure you corrected your tire size when programming.

Thanks Matt, I adjusted my tire size in inches in the series of questions it asks before it downloads the tune. But right now my tuner wont let me adjust the tire revs per mile in the adjustable options menu. Plus i only have about 25 miles on the tune!!

Why does it have a tire size and then revs per mile. What changes what

I have played with both, I never was able to get things right using the revs per mile and changing my gear ratio. I was tired of 10 minute re writes. When the first set of questions comes up, I just say 34.5 for tire size and MPH its dead accurate using GPS.

i have 38 inch tires but i measured with a tape measuer from the ground to the top of the tread and they are about dead even 37. So i put 37. I dont have a gps so hopefully i pretty close! Also my truck came stock with a 3.73 gear so im assuming the computer already picks that up as stock so i dont need to change it.

Better double check that the gear ratio is right...I was thinking that mine (or someone else that was talking about it) had a problem with the wrong default ratio...? I always go through the options and make sure the tire height, gear ratio and revolutions per mile are correct, just to be on the safe side. As far as tire height goes I would just use a tape measure like anthony said...

When you see two tire size settings, one will program the ABS controller for speedo. The other is for calculated mph for part throttle shifting.

so on my sct tsx which tire size is for what..I can only adjust the size in inches when it asks if i changed my tire size. For some reason i cant get custom tunes to load if i mess with the options for tire rev per mile and gear ratio. I have to skip the options in other words to even load a custom tune.

Eric is a great and helpful guy and posts like that just prove himself.

Which one changes the abs and which changes shift points? Im going to go out on a limb and say Tire size changes shift points and revs per mile change the abs module.

Do you get both the revs per mile and tire size with the preloaded tunes or just emailed tunes. Only one that I have seen with Eric's preloaded tunes was the option for tire size.
