Mercon SP to LV

Anyone have any issues switching to Mercon LV? I had SP in my built trans last year and it held great at the track, on the street, etc. Now after the new build and switching to LV the tranny no longer holds on the track or on the street under heavy acceleration. I know I'm putting a little more power down now but it hasn't saw the track or any real abuse until the other day at the track and it wasn't holding at all.

It drives fine, and temps are normal while cruising or moderate acceleration. It's got the Elite Comp clutches. Fluid doesn't smell too bad.

Do a search for SP VS LV over on the .org and there's a 22 page discussion on the differences.

I'm just curious if its the clutches Elite uses that may not be compatible with LV. Ford says they are compatible but I'm not using stock clutches so that may be different. Anyone with built trans running LV?

Bump for some input with out having to read through 22 pages. Getting an Elite stage 3 tranny next week and was starting to think about this myself.
