Raced someone twice. 10 second roles.
2016 f350 64k miles.
No problems ... lost
Later i noticed on a hill from 0-7ish psi the truck struggled. Almost slowed down like the brakes were applied. Once it finally got over the struggle of building boost it would shoot straight to 38psi like a light switch. Kinda like squeezing a fart around a turd.
Also noticed zero smoke when flooded (running hot tune)
Got home and inspect cold side pipe, no issues and no apparent boost leaks (someone revving while I was under hood)
Upon shut down noticed grinding coming from turbo. Video attached
This morning there was zero issues, no lag, plenty of smoke, and no grinding! Yeyyy.
Tonight it did my full *** de1ete (was just unplugged) qnd after test running to burp coolant i heard the turbo grinding after shut down again
Is there anything else that spins down after the truck is shut off???
Anyone had a bearing failure in there turbo qnd it sound like this?
