Well hell, why not just hang one off each bank and run true twins. That ought to be a money pit PITA. :D

I was just thinking the billet wheel to reduce weight if that's even a case to be made, never had anything other than bat's on either truck. My 5.9 has a cast primary and bat secondary(I reused it from the 6.0, just traded out turbines)

I talked with a guy from garrett earlier today and he kinda filled me in on what does what, even he said if your not racing, the BB's were kind of a waste unless that's just what you want. Said I would probably get more benefit going with one on the secondary as that's what gets you going and you'll see the most benefit on the street there.

Aside from the air coming in, we are looking at opening up the heads, when we done all of this, we just had the runners smoothed out and gasket matched. Didn't really look to be too much meat to work with. But have been reading some folks are getting them opened up and seeing some good results.

I dont think the ball bearing helps spool up one bit, if anything it may last longer under high pressures. From what i've seen on friends trucks anyways, I still think the bw chargers spool faster. I'd agree with Dustin and go with a 64 as the secondary and a larger primary, with the gate set correctly you shouldnt have any issues with spooling the large guy.

Just thought I'd throw a little update in, Christmas morning, I layed 20 boxes under the tree before my wife woke up. There was a crank, rods, .30 pistons, main studs, 200% nozzles, Hamilton stg. 2 cam, front and rear lockers, and a few other goodies. We(she) decided to use the spare block in the basement, so that was sent out and gone through and we had a new bed plate machined. As of now, the long block is ready to go in so we can start fabbing the piping and pedestals for the chargers. We got the crank and rods from kola, it is supposed to be good to 2100ft/lbs of torque, but we'll see. The pistons are from mahle. I persisted about the main studs due to what white monster had talked about several months ago, and the torque this build should produce. She wants a nuke proof rotating assembly, and I was more than happy to oblige.

All I can say is thank god for no monthly payments of any kind, and a great year for overtime, my 07 blowing up didn't help, but that only hurt about 5 grand. Hoping to have a real dyno and strip killer on our hands.

Gotta fuel a 598 somehow, I would rather have the fuel be pulled back some and peg the chargers. She said she didn't want any air left on the table. We are gonna start out at 1.9 pw and start setting the gate as we go until the chargers have had it. Should have it going in the truck this spring, don't have heat in the garage and am not catching the flu to put this in.

The coolest part has been the injectors, a friend of mine pulls competitively and showed us how to build them, and we done them ourselves. Hope that works out. :lookaround: never know unless you try.

My bad, they are 200hp, I don't think a 200% even exists. The holes in these are gigantic compared to the stockers. I couldn't imagine 200%, unless these don't cut it. The ones in her truck now are supposed to be 110hp nozzles, whatever they are they do fine to spin the 475 up, just a little laggy and smokey by nature.

Eric, I already have both turbos, but when I get everything out i will contact you if you are still interested at the time(roughly mid march.) .90 housing/ 87 wheel on the turbine.

Oh, we'll see how the suncoast lives behind this as she is fairly rough on a tranny, the whole truck to be honest. I have the money laid back for a 4r if she grenades the 5r.

I did have these flowed and they are within 1cc of each other in discharge amount. I figured with all this stuff going in, don't want to miss any details.

Looks good mike, we're hoping around that area or more, the cfm of the primary ought to push it, and come in early.

My wife is just like us, well except for a couple obvious things, but she won't leave well enough alone.

Who are these guys? Where they located? There used to be a Cola cranks from Cali, had one of theirs and it was great, but they went out of business about 3-4 years ago. Just curious, may be a good option.

They are an upstart out of nebraska. We talked with him for a couple hours solid about what was going on and he said give him a couple months to see what he could do. And well, his crank and rods somehow made it to our house.

I do have another question, she also expressed interest in making a working cluster. Are the pcm's on the 6.4 setup that they need an interface with the guages or does the pcm simply give an output?
