Mini maxx issue

Installed a mini maxx on my buddies 09. Truck accepted the tune fine. No codes etc. but the power levels on the main screen aren't available. It says "power level setting unavailable until download installed" have returned truck back to stock and reloaded the mild tunes and no luck . Have tried researching with no luck . Any help ?

It mustn't be downloading the tune. If you go to menu, show settings, what does the tune status say?

It listed that the tune was installed under the settings

I've seen that glitch happen on old units. Never seen it on a newer one.

By "old" I mean units that are 3+yrs old and have been sitting in the sun non-stop. I'm sure they'll get you fixed up

Yeh he bought it new from Rudys last week. Thanks for the info. I'll let y'all know what the issue was once resolved

He ended up taking it to Rudys and they swapped to another mini maxx and it works fine now . So it was the tuner. They said they had never seen that issue either
